Anambra Poll: Anybody Contesting Against Soludo Is An Enemy Of Progress -- Majority Leader

RAYMOND OZOJI reports

The Majority Leader of the Anambra State House of Assembly and member representing Ekwusigo state constituency Hon. Chief Ikenna Ofodeme has vehemently stated that any person contesting against Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo in the November 8th gubernatorial polls is an enemy of progress.

Ofodeme who stated this at a strategic meeting of the Solution Marshals held at the Prof. Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre Awka, wondered what other contestants are coming to do because he believes that there is no vacancy in the Government House.

Ofodeme questioned candidates of other political parties, saying that their curriculum vitae and past records cast blemishes on them and rendering their social values worthless.

He therefore maintained that Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo is a professor in all ramifications and there is absolutely no need to look for someone else when the state is already making meaningful progress with him on the saddle.

He was of the opinion that the need to return Governor Soludo for a second term in office can not be overemphasized because other contestants, according to him, have nothing different or better they want to offer to Ndi-Anambra.

The leader of the majority in the 8th legislature therefore admonished the citizenry to rally round the governor and support him massively inorder to reelect him for a second term in office.
