APGA Apostles have once again restated their avowed commitment to delivering APGA candidates in all elections beginning with the Anambra-South senatorial bye-election.
National Convener of APGA Apostles Hon. Chief Nchekwube Anthony Dunga who disclosed it during the APGA Apostles Forum Christmas Luncheon cum Banquet organized for Anambra Council of Patrons/Patronesses of the forum and under the distinguished chairmanship of the Deputy Governor Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, said the apostles were ready for next year's electoral contest and they would prove their grassroots presence with the Anambra-South senatorial bye-election.
Chief Nchekwube also declared that the apostles will prove their electioneering capacity and competence with the he 2025 governorship election in the state, and ensure that APGA becomes the cynosure of other political parties in the 2027 general elections.
He said the luncheon cum banquet was put together for the apostles to wine and dine as it is the festive season; retire for the holidays and return in January for the big task of ensuring that all APGA candidates win in their respective elective contests because he believes it is time to really prove beyond all reasonable doubts that Anambra State is truly APGA land.
Hon. Emeka Ozumba and Peter Nwosu were some of the apostles who spoke vehemently on the readiness of APGA Apostles to conquer the grassroots for candidates of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). The duo affirmed that APGA Apostles Forum were not like the regular support groups that fizzle out immediately after elections but people who remain loyal to the party forever whether it is the ruling party or not.
The Deputy Governor Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim while addressing the apostles, urged them to go on tour round the Anambra State and feast their eyes on the governor's projects and programmes. Ibezim pointed out that insecurity was worst in the North while the least is in the Southeast.
Ibezim who said Anambra has a very hardworking governor, noted that he has been in the state executive council for 12 years and that he knows that government value people who support their efforts, emphasizing that Dunga and the entire APGA Apostles members are worthy ambassadors of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo's ideals and initiatives.
