Governor Soludo who was represented by his Deputy Governor, Dr. OnyekaChukwu Ibezim was at Uburu, Ebonyi State to pay his last respects to the family of Late Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu.
There was an outpouring of tributes and eulogies by family members, former colleagues, Dignitaries, friends and well wishers.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President of Nigeria and Commander in Chief of the Armed forces who was represented by Sen. David Umahi, Minister for Works, eulogised the late Ogbonnaya Onu as a worthy leader who served his State and country very well.
He commisserated with the deceased family, assuring them that his legacy of service will always guide their paths.
The officiating Priest prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased soul.
There was a massive turnout of dignitaries among which are; Alhaji Ganduje APC National Chairman, Sen. Anyim Pius Anyim, Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Rotimi Amechi, Former Governor of Rivers State and Former Minister of Transportation, Governors of Anambra who was represented by his Deputy Governor, Enugu, Abia and Imo States; Senators, Members of Federal House of Representatives, Members of State Assemblies, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Friends and well wishers.
