Onitsha-North Transition Committee Chairman Hon. Tony Nworah has declared that no opposition whatsoever can challenge Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo in the 2025 governorship electoral contest.
Nworah who spoke to HEADLINE NEWS exclusively at the Government House Awka, maintained that irrespective of whosoever is aspiring to contest in the said election, Soludo remains unbeatable because of his dynamic transformational leadership as attested to by Anambra citizens.
Nworah stated that no opposition can match up with what Governor Soludo is doing in the state because in just 2 years in office, Soludo has worked more than the governors who have been in the office for 8 years.
He said the only political party in Anambra State is the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and that it will take a Camel to pass through the niddle's eye than for any other political party to win the state because Ndi-Anambra, according to him, have settled for APGA following her trajectory of developmental governance since it came on board as the ruling party.
In Onitsha-North, the TC chairman noted that efforts are being made to sustain the governor's programmes as it borders on environmental cleanliness, security and education, adding that the governor's manifesto is what the TC chairmen are implementing in all the 21 local government areas of the state.
He said that in security, Onitsha-North Local Government Council is working with Central Police Station Onitsha, Anambra Vigilante Group and other security outfits to curb the menace of insecurity and according to him, the collaboration is yielding positive results.
In infrastructure, Nworah disclosed that Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo is constructing roads in Onitsha-North and South thereby giving the commercial city a facelift and a new lease of life, noting that by the time the governor completes his 8 years in office, Anambra State will definitely be the Dubai of Africa.
He said that the likes of Okpoko, Fegge and some others are concrete evidences of Governor Soludo's infrastructural transformations in Onitsha and its environs even as he also mentioned flood control and desilting of gutters to ensure free flow of water into the Niger.
Nworah emphasized that Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo has mandated Onitsha to sustain his development agenda and according to him, they are religiously doing that and Onitsha is relishing the new order.
