Security Has Improved In Anambra -- Lawmaker

The lawmaker representing Ayamelum state constituency in the 8th assembly of Anambra State Hon. Bernard Udemezue has observed that security has tremendously improved in the state. 

Udemezue who made the observations during an exclusive interview with this journalist, commended Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, the Agunechemba security outfit and the Anambra State Police Command for the obvious improvements in the security situation of the state as well as their resilience and intrepidity in achieving such a tranquil atmosphere in the state. 

The lawmaker who is also the House of Assembly Committee Chairman on Homeland Security, further observed that kidnappings have reduced in the state. He maintained that the security agencies have tried but there is a lot of work yet to be done. 

He therefore advocated for the training and retraining of Agunechemba security personnel as well as the adoption of modern technologies in their operations to enhance efficiency in the war against crime and criminality. 

He also advised that the Agunechemba security outfit checked the complaints of members of the society regarding their corrupt practices.
