RAYMOND OZOJI reports

As the contest for the 2025 Anambra Governorship Election approaches, former Secretary-General of the Commonwealth Chief Emeka Anyaoku, industry giant and Chairman of the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) Chief Emeka Offor, former Deputy Governor and current Secretary-General of Ohaneze-Ndigbo Worldwide His Excellency Chief Emeka Sibeudu and a host of other prominent illustrious sons and daughters of Anambra State have rallied round Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, declaring that his second term reelection is non-negotiable.

The public assertion which came on the heels of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's recent presidential state visit to Anambra as well as his unequivocal declaration of his administration's total and unwavering support for Governor Soludo's government, may be the end of the road for the candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, his Young Progressive Party ( YPP) counterpart Paul Chukwuma and others in the race.

Chief Emeka Anyaoku who described Soludo as a clearly performing governor, noted that Professor Soludo will come back to complete his unfinished projects come November 8th this year and nothing will stand in his way.

Chief Emeka Offor on his part stated that Soludo is performing wonders in the state judging from his road revolution projects and critical infrastructure developments across the state. Offor was of the opinion that by the time Governor Soludo returns on November 8th, 2025, he will be the chief pilot to champion the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the state.

Former Deputy Governor of the state and current Secretary-General of Ohaneze-Ndigbo Worldwide His Excellency Chief Emeka Sibeudu was cognisant that Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo has worked day and night to prove to Ndi-Anambra and Ndigbo that they are one people with one agenda.

Also a beneficiary of Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo's youth empowerment programmes Mr. Nwaezekwe Rapulu Chris, observed that indeed solution is in Anambra State because the governor, according to him, has deployed his One Youth Two Skills Development Initiative to transform the lives of Anambra youths.

He said that as an Agro-expert, he currently employs 21 people in his farm courtesy of the governor's platforms for youth development. According to him, the governor said he would create 1000 youth millionaires every year but the governor, according to him, has ended up creating 5000 youth millionaires every year.

He said that the governor made the One Youth Two Skills Development Programme all-encompassing such that it is non-discriminatory but all-inclusive for Anambra citizens irrespective of state of origin.

That the youth development programme was designed in such a way that after the impactful training sessions,  Anambra youths are exporting skills to the rest of Nigeria and to the rest of the world, emphasizing that Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo has turned Anambra into an ecosystem of skilled labour as Anambra youths now send their products to Australia, United States of America and other part of the globe.

As a result, Nwaezekwe declared that youths are solidly behind Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo's second term reelection and they would do everything it takes to ensure that Soludo is reelected.
