The Executive Chairman of Awka-North Local Government Area of Anambra State Hon. ThankGod Chibuike Anagor has revealed that Awka-North is the first local government area in the state to construct quality tarred road under his watch.
Anagor who disclosed this to HEADLINE NEWS in Awka, maintained that Awka-North is currently transiting from a forlorn council area to becoming the admiration of other local governments in the state because Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo has remembered them after many decades of oblivion.
Anagor stated that his government has done the very first quality tarred road in the state from Amansea linking the old Enugu-Onitsha expressway at Amaowelle in Amansea community of the council area.
The Executive Mayor also revealed that his government has completed the construction of Ezi-Okpokolo road Ngbakwu with a spur to Holy Castle in Ngbakwu community coupled with other ongoing road projects in the council area.
He also informed that apart from road infrastructure, his regime has extended good governance and democracy dividends to five primary schools in Awka-North and currently attending to some others, noting that Aborgu primary school, Central School, Unity primary school as well as revamping nomadic education at Urum community.
He therefore assured his people of more dividends of democracy, stating that they will continue to get the very best of governance in tandem with the monumental transformations Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo has brought to Anambra State.
