RAYMOND OZOJI reports
Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo has appealed to Anambra electorate to pray for him to win the All Progressives Grand Alliance Governorship Primary Election slated for Saturday this weekend.
Soludo who made the passionate appeal with an emotion-ladened voice during the solidarity rally organized by All Soludo Support Groups (ASSG) at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Awka on Thursday, said his performance in three years was just a tip of the iceberg and that Ndi-Anambra ain't seen nothing yet.
The governor who was obviously flabbergasted and overwhelmed by the acceptance, gratitude and endorsements from the citizenry, promised more surprises for Ndi-Anambra, if he eventually win the APGA ticket to contest in the November 8th gubernatorial election.
He therefore appealed to about 4000 delegates to the election to look in his direction and decide whether he should fly the party's flag again or step down even as the mammoth crowd chorused he would be elected unopposed.
The governor stated that campaigns and electioneering activities would begin formerly on 11th June but assured the people that even during the campaigns, he would still be working everyday 24/7 to deliver the dividends of democracy to Ndi-Anambra.
Soludo said they would go for campaigns but most of the time would be devoted to inspections, commissioning of projects or flagging off new ones, adding that it is the job he applied for and he is ready and prepared for it because he believes Anambra will not be the same again when all work together to realize the Anambra of our dreams.
