The national president of the Anambra State Association of Town Unions (ASATU) Chief Barr. Titus Nnabuike Akpudo has hailed the new leadership of the Ohaneze-Ndigbo World Wide Anambra state chapter led by Chukwuma Okpalaezeukwu.
Akpudo who functioned as the Chairman of the state electoral committee Ohaneze-Ndigbo that produced the new state officers, said it is a new dawn for the apex Igbo socio-cultural organization even as he encouraged them to join forces with the present administration for the developmental good of the entire state.
Akpudo in his statement said, " January 7, 2025, marked a significant milestone for Ohanaeze Ndigbo Anambra State chapter as we successfully conducted our State general election. I am honored to have served as the Chairman of the State Electoral Committee.
I extend my warmest congratulations to the newly elected officers of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Anambra State, particularly our esteemed ASATU members who contested and emerged victorious. I urge you all to utilize your esteemed offices for the developmental good of Anambra State and the entire Igbo race.
I also seize this opportunity to express my profound gratitude to the Anambra State Government, led by the indefatigable Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR ( Odenigbo Global). Your Excellency's unwavering support and provision of an enabling environment for the conduct of the election are truly commendable. Your visionary leadership and commitment to the well-being of Ndi Anambra are a beacon of hope for our dear state.
I also appreciate the exceptional assistance rendered by Dr. Alex Obi Ogbolu, Special Adviser on Politics to the Governor, and Hon. Dr. Tony Collins Nwabunwanne, Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Community Affairs, Obi Chukwuemekalum Udodeme ( Obi Adama II) immediate past Anambra State President. Your tireless efforts ensured the success of this election.
To the members of the State and National Electoral Committees, I express my heartfelt appreciation for your painstaking efforts, which culminated in an election adjudged to be free, fair, and credible. I most passionately urge both the successful and unsuccessful candidates in the election to accept their various circumstances in good faith and join hands to lead ohanaeze Ndigbo Anambra State chapter and State generally to greater heights.

Meanwhile the list of elected state executive officers of Ohaneze-Ndigbo World Wide Anambra state chapter 2025 are Chukwuma Okpalaezeukwu as President, Hon. Ikechukwu Offorkansi as Secretary, Hon. Uzo Ekemezie - Publicity Secretary, Hon. Christian Okafor -Treasurer, Chief Augustine Udoh as Organizing Secretary, Chief Uchenna Michael Nwoye as Assistant Financial Secretary, Prof. Charles Nwadigwe as Financial Secretary, Ebelechukwu Ngini - Youth Leader, Israel Chukwuemeka as Assistant Treasurer.
Others are Arch Austine Anegbunne as Assistant Publicity Secretary, Barr. Paul Okoye as Legal Adviser, Chief Peter Ezeofor - Assistant Secretary, Chief Damian Atuigwe - Assistant Organizing Secretary. Barr.
